I think this quote means that if you are kind to others to yourself even with people that you don’t know you will feel great about what you did and there`s a chance will you might get something back that’s special. For an example trying to catch a baseball from the benches and yuu see someone crying for it be generous and give it to him/her be nice and you will get something better back to you.
